About Us
Ministry of Railway's (Railway Board) vide their letter dated 18-07-05 delegated powers for Recruitment to Group 'D' post for General Managers. In pursuance to this formation of Railway Recruitment Cell on Western Railway started with the posting of Dy. CPO (Recruitment) on 16/08/05.
Henceforth recruitment to all Group 'D' post on Zonal Railway will be done by Railway Recruitment Cell.
ORGANISATION : The Cell is headed by Dy. CPO (Recruitment) who is assisted by one APO (Recruitment), Nine Class 3 staff including CA and four class 4 staff.
JURISDICTION : The Cell caters to filling up of Group 'D' vacancies in Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Ratlam, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and other workshops, extra divisional units in the territorial jurisdictions of Western Railway.
